New age restriction for Bupa standard visitor cover

New age restriction for Bupa standard visitor cover

In light of the ongoing uncertainty around COVID-19, Bupa are placing an age restriction on Standard Visitors Cover.

🎈 From 5 May 2020 Standard Visitors Cover is only available to overseas visitors under 50 years of age.

🎈The new age restriction for Standard Visitors Cover will apply to new customers only (switching from another insurer or new to health insurance) and includes parents of existing Bupa Domestic, OVHC or OSHC customers.

🎈Bupa will continue to allow existing Bupa customers moving to a new visa to join Standard Visitors Cover (e.g. Bupa OSHC or OVHC Working visa customers transferring to an OVHC Non-Working visa).

🎈Both Standard Visitors Cover and Standard 50 Visitors Cover have been removed from the Bupa website, with Standard Visitors Cover to return on 5 May 2020 with the age restriction.
